Thanks for pointing that out as that makes a YUGE difference in clearance comparison.

I'm looking forward to trying out the 4.19" size Pinseeker. Should be zero to none body trimming!

Would love to know why the every other RTR still has the old axle housings and the new Utron here and SE have the "improved" axle. Never mind the new transmission. Would have thought by now there'd have been a revision to existing RTR's.

i like the look of this chassis, was tempted with the previous IFS version but in the end i didnt buy it. might just end up buying one of these as a kit when they comes.

Well the conversion kit is finally available, RPP just put up a listing for it. Its $99 just like the last kit which is nice. https://www.rpphobby.com/product_p/asc42340.htm Apparently the design is licensed by Camburg who I'm not familiar with but they been making long travel IFS for 1:1s since 1997. |

Excited to see that this IFS is finally getting released. As soon as I can find one in stock, I'll be getting one or a couple. I'm shocked that the price is $99 bucks. I figured this newly licensed design would have cost more. |

The licensing is just silly in this case IMO. Other than to increase cost...why? It's also stupid that it comes assembled. Sure you can disassemble it and ensure it was built correctly, but then you have to worry about the screws being pre-stripped. Does the Utron use the exact same IFS or does that truck use an earlier version of the IFS? Last edited by JatoTheRipper; 12-06-2023 at 06:26 AM. |

I do believe it is the same IFS that is currently in the Utron.

Wastes money too. Needless assembly and licensing. The first version was a kit. I have one that is still in the box.

The Utron uses the IFS2. My guess for it coming pre-assembled is that they are already doing it for the Utron, so it's probably coming off the same assembly line. Rather than separating the parts and individually packaging them, they're probably just grabbing the whole setup off the line and throwing it in a box while some of them go to finish putting together the Utron. |

You’re probably right. That is the only reason I can see as to why it would come pre-assembled. I guess I’ll treat this like an RTR and rebuild it from the start. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Good luck! Every element RTR I’ve owned has been full of stripped screws. Hopefully they have gotten better at not man handling their trucks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Not counting my Vanquish rigs, my Element RC rigs are my favorites to drive and work on. A simple yet very capable rig right out of the box, IMO of course. Now if your talking about RC4WD RTR's, well then I completely agree with the hardware and the lack of any thread lock!

Anyone know if the ifs kits will work on other chassis say 10.2?

Amain has SCX 10.1, 10.2, and SSD Trail King listed under compatibility, but I haven't found anything on Element's website that confirms this.

I saw someone on FB post pictures of it installed on Vanquish VS4-10 chassis rails. This person said it fit good with very little modification.
