No. If I buy these and it doesnt make me win with my super, I'm gonna be pissed at you!

J/K. Nice work dude! I told you that you should just make your own axle set!

Sweet video for sure. I can't wait to see the full specs/details of this setup.

I am going to make a set for my super when I make the others to send out to the testers...

The learning curve on making these was pretty tough for me. Everything and I mean everything has to be perfect. If one thing is messed up, it messed up everything else down the line. It has really pushed my machining skills. I think I have learned more from this project than I ever have!

Here is another climb I took vid of. I was able to do this before but I wanted video. This is the steepest climb I have ever done. The only reason its possible is because there are little hooks that you can use all the way up.

Since video always takes away from the angles, I tried to use my angle finder on my phone to show how steep it is. Approx 73*

This is awesome Erik! How do these gearboxes compare to the mt boxes weight wise?

Also, I think the rtr idea is great! You should offer a kit as well, everything but electronics.

Once again, very cool man!

Eric, I think something that you said in a pm or on a thread somewhere applies here! If you can take as much weight out of the center as possible (chassis, gearbox, motors), then apply what's needed to the farthest and lowest points (the wheels, knuckle weight, etc) then it creates a much more stable rig! So, with these gear boxes your doing just that

Will this setup still allow me to use my SDS CVD axles, and I'm sure they will work with your aluminum rear axles!

We need video of Eric, you and Joel on the said climbs. I am interested to see three very well setup trucks with three different axles.

Thanks!

These cases and MT cases are very close in weight, about 37g. I need to double verify that though. Lots have changed since I first weighed them at that weight and where they are now.

Even if there is just a little bit of a demand I think we should be able to help with a set of built axles, axles attached to a chassis with no electronics and a complete RTR car.

Exactly! I am still moving towards this point. The only problem I am having now is that I feel like I want more weight but I just dont like adding any above my front knuckles and still have a hard time adding more to the rear.

Yep, any axle that works in a Berg now, will work in these axles, in the front. I am only making these to work with my axles in the rear. I am pretty sure I will also be selling these with my axles in the rear, along with the Delrin hubs. The fronts can come with everything you want to just add chubs outwards or I can supply my Bully stuff like I already do.

Another note, the axle is .200" narrower from kingpin to kingpin. This will allow you to narrow up just a touch and keep the scrub.

I'm sure the set up is better than sliced bread. Great job Erik with keeping the superb ideas coming.

Look forward to seeing them E! I'm sure they were a bunchload of work. Glad they are worth the effort. What are they made of? 7075?

I do recall that climb. Props for making it. I wish I could have changed to lighter shock oil (to loosen up twist) and hit it some more.

Travel safe and I'll see you this weekend. And yes, Jake has some cool arse climbs to play with. Hope the rocks are dry.

They are going to be worth the wait. Another benefit of these cases is that they will be putting a bunch of Berg boxes back on the market too.
