Default Diamond's transition to the other side

So I've been planning on switching over to bergs for some time now and I have been gathering parts up for a while as well. I really liked my XR axles but after having a super with bergs and also seeing how much of a beating the bergs take and keep on trucking I made the decision to switch.
My goal is to build some nice light weight axles that are bulletproof. Also like to thank Tom for throwing some of the rcbros tubes together for me and also a big thanks to Will for getting me all the parts I need and as always top quality parts. And also need to thank John for getting me the sds gears and the rear AL fighter.
So off to the parts list so far.

RCbros tubes
RCbros gears
RCbros upper link mount
RCbros lockers
SDS 2nds
SDS 3rds
SDS AL rear fighter axle

This may be somewhat of a slow build but figured I would start it off with the axles.

That's a nice looking set of axles you have there Dave, surprised your not using Brood mag tubes.

Man that front case looks HUGE compared to the fighter case.

Thanks Chris Eddie hasn't come out with the tubes as far as producing them yet. I also liked the having splines on the ends for ease of clocking and not have to worry about them rotating.

Ah gotcha, I'm sure you won't miss a beat with the ass kicking making the switch.

What are you going to do for front axle shafts. Not to many options out there. We have been running Delux shafts with great success. Great start.

Now if someone would start making front shafts you would be done.

You should look into dlux's rear aluminum axle shafts. They are tough as nails and way lighter than anything else available!

Thanks Ya def not alot out there right now. My plan is to run wraith uni's machined down for the time being. Planning on just making them fit nice and tight and hope they hold out long enough until some nice HD's come out. If those don't hold out long I will prob mod some VVD's again until the HD's come out.

Ya may look into those. It would be a custom shaft though so mo money mo money. The AL fighters are a bit more narrow than a stock berg rear.

Great to see a new berg build up. Not messing around with the parts list! I've read that creeper Bob is working on front axles for us but it's tough to beat Dlux quality and price for his mod uni's.

Pay not attention to the axles under this but I just got my skins from RCtrim. Here are a few pics. I am still waiting on a few parts to get these axles complete and then will be able to install them.

Got a package from Dlux today. He machined the big pin mod into the gears for me. Went from a 1.5mm pin to a 2.5mm pin. The gears snap together and are nice and tight. Nice job Erik.
So I have the rear AL fighter complete and ready to bolt the motor up and I'm just waiting on a few parts for the front axle and I should be able to bolt them up real soon.
