| New to it all, EnRoute Berg V3
I am pretty much new to rc crawling and forums. I was wondering if I could get some advice on fitting out my Berg V3. I purchase a kit, without rims and tires. Looking for recommendations on what motors, ESC etc to have the unit up and running. I would also appreciate any comments on how the V3 runs and whether or not mods are required. Thanks |

OK, I'll bite. All of the questions you ask have answers that vary by individual. There is no best way to build a crawler, only the way you find to be best. For V3 specific help (geometry etc), search the term "V3" in the forum and read every word of every related post or thread. Take notes. For general help, read at least 20 recent build threads of greater than 5 pages. Take notes. Only then will you'll begin to build your knowledge base and with lots of trial and error on the rocks you'll be able to answer your questions better than anyone else can. If you want to know what I like, please see my list of sponsors at the bottom of this post. New crawlers are very welcome around here and those who work to help themselves [learn] are more likely to be helped by others. Questions of a more specific nature are more likely to be answered. Welcome aboard and happy learning. Joel |
