Sorry to lead everyone on. Pretty excited for that bully to show up though. Thanks again for the advice!
Westerly RI?

Good choice on the B2, very durable and upgrades are out there for them

Definitely pick up the KR4 rear axle from Krazed Builds, quality is top notch and excellent C.S.

You want to drill a hole in the tube for a screw. If you want to play with the caster, either the AX10 hub or the Wraith hub will allow you to do that by using the same holes.
I'm betting you meant MT not berg but that's pretty cool. Now ill have a bully and something I can basically turn into a berg slowly without my girlfriend noticing.

Don't rub it in lol, this place sucks. But yeah I'm extremely excited to get it out of the box and on some rocks.

Thanks a lot for the feedback guys but I think were a bit off topic. I'd still like to see someone buy one of these xtra speed spiders just to find out if its the same quality as a stock berg.

Some of the best terrain in your state plus you got two neighbor states to crawl with

It's a real PITA to take the entire gearbox apart, so I only took apart the bit where you install the motor, gears look good nice and smooth and no rust.

As I've learned. From my gearbox almost falling apart, take it apart completely and locktite everything and grease it.
Who told you it was the same as a berg?

Sure looks like the old berg kit. Wonder if it has the same gears?

Well I just ordered one. To use with a R1 project. For the axles really. Despite all the bashing of these axles I'm willing to give them a try. Especially when no one seems to know anything about them , but at the same time seems to know everything about them. If you'd like I'll post some pics when it comes in.

What's to know about them? They are a copy of V1 Berg axles. It's a good axle just not 2.2Mod worthy with out 300+ in upgrades. Might be a perfect fit for your project.

If someone wanted a set of competition axles there's better ways to spend your money .

I know nothing about Berg. I just wanted this look of Axles for a project. Everything sure looks weak and tiny compared to my clod / groundpounder/ axial projects. Especially the gears look pretty thin. But really I'm not into crawling , doesn't looks like much strength would be need at such a slow speed. You guys would know better than me. This kit was so crazy cheap I bought it just for the Axles. And maybe shocks on something at some point.

Yeah I know what an open transmission is. I will when I get time , summers here so I'm in the garage working on real cars / bikes. But I'll get to it.
