I’ll try not to let you down Matt... :) |
Re: House’s TiDe Fighter purty! You like the drive of the sprung mass? |

Not sure yet... But I am going to try it both ways. "thumbsup" |
Re: House’s TiDe Fighter 1 Attachment(s) Having too much “fun” polishing. |
Re: House’s TiDe Fighter 1 Attachment(s) My fingers are sore so time to start whittling on some new tubes... |

Re: House’s TiDe Fighter 2 Attachment(s) Annnnd a set of rear tubes come alive. Nothing wrong with the lockout style, but I like the smaller OD possible with the snap ring style ends especially with this setup using small 3/8” tubes with big 7mm shafts in them. I may make a set in the future that fit the roller bearing.... Hope to get these polished up later this weekend. |
Re: House’s TiDe Fighter 1 Attachment(s) I have always been a fan of .187 links, but I will give the .125 uppers a shot and see how they fare... I also usually run bent rear lowers not radiused, but these look pretty nice! Filled all the rod ends with teflon coated aluminum balls. |
Re: House’s TiDe Fighter What tool do you bore the id with? |
Re: House’s TiDe Fighter Awesome work! Love this Ti Fighter. Even if they are not perfect the look amazing. Yours will perform much better I bet. |

I don’t think any cases are a perfect design, are they? |
Re: House’s TiDe Fighter 1 Attachment(s) Could probably use a little more polishing but I am sure I will scratch the shït out of them installing the link mounts anyway... |
Re: House’s TiDe Fighter 2 Attachment(s) After losing sleep thinking about which material to make the front tubes out of I finally decided on 7075 to match the rears. Maybe a set of Ti tubes will be in a future Super build, we’ll see... |

Just prure awesomeness "thumbsup" |
Re: House’s TiDe Fighter Might as well build everything out of titanium then... |
Re: House’s TiDe Fighter 1 Attachment(s) Sorry not much tech, just manual labor... :) As you can see, House tubes, Dlux wheel hubs, SSD 0° c-hubs, and Hudy servo arm a la polísh... |
Re: House’s TiDe Fighter No, there aren't any perfect cases.... But that's a perfect work you got there. You went the extra mile on those! |
Re: House’s TiDe Fighter 1 Attachment(s) A nice shiny pair of Swedish Shocks via Utah were delivered today... |
