Reservation finally made! Got the discount rate for a king size bed and a roll in shower and it should be on the first floor. Sometimes being disabled does have advantages.

Just got off the phone with Hampton Inn. The story goes like this...since that is a busy weekend this year (soccer tournaments or something) they are requiring groups to have a minimum of 15 rooms for the discount. If anyone has booked through a 3rd party site such as Expedia, Travelocity, etc. their rates can not be changed. If you have booked with the non-refundable rate their is no way to change or discount it any further. He wasn't very clear on whether those rooms could count towards the total of 15, but I got the feeling that they do.

If we can get 15 rooms booked it would provide an additional 10% discount per night.

I also asked about using a "Meeting Room" during the evenings for people to hang out in and such. He said that wouldn't be a problem if we wanted to do that...as long as the room(s) is not already in use.
