Just checked with dad looks like he will def be there too. So it looks like Dad (2.2 trail truck, and new 2.2 truck), me (lil' Blu) and my son (with his 1/16th Summit) will be there from the CRAWL UGLY crew.

Any weight limit? My trucks 18 pounds and some change right now, planning on getting it down a lot to stop breaking parts and to make it less top heavy but figured I'd check to see if there's any number I should shoot for.

There's probably 4 or 5 pounds of weight in the wheels alone from the previous owner that I'v been meaning to take out, I just hate dis-assembling and re-assembling bead locks so much that when I put on the super swampers I forgot to remove the weight in my excitement to get on the tires and other goodies and get my truck running right. That and the fact I was running 6000 mah 3s batts at the time (got some 1800 mah gens ace 3s lipos right now) probably didn't help. Hoping to get it down to the low teens, 10 pounds is where I'm aiming for but I know that probably wont happen. Last edited by speed ghilliesniper; 01-08-2012 at 07:16 PM. | |

Still 3wd and on 48p gears instead of 32p, not looking good for competing. I might just go, dink around in the mud if there is any, tug the sled for s&gs and bring some spare parts for everyone. Any one need some lead, I pulled 6 POUNDS out of the rims I was amazed, got it to around 11 pounds by my scale, not sure on how accurate it is because I had to use a piece of card board to keep it on and it wouldn't register just the cardboard. Either way, it's alot lighter and while the tourqe twist is still horrendous, I picked up some jato ends to 4 link it. Hows everyone else doing?
