This is my attempt to own a gun I can actually shoot for fun... I have 3 AR's and 2 m16A2's and a slew of shotguns.. modded and stock.. But I honestly cant afford to shoot them. I bought a 9mm Assualt style rig a few months ago to take advantage of 9mm rounds being cheap.. but then they went up too..lol

Sadly .22 is scarce as can be. Just gotta wait a few months for people to chill. I haven't shot any of my guns simply because I can't afford to replace nor search for the ammo. Even GS customs is weeks behind on wait list for reloads.

I have almost 5000 rds of CCI 22lr back when it was cheaper @ $11 per box. Glad I got it when I did.

Indeed. I have some too. I love 22's. I recently sold my ar and picked up another 22. They are really underrated.

Very under rated IMHO, my carry for my CWP is a Sig Mosquito. All my friends kinda laughed at it until they realized how nice of a piece it really is let alone accurate & dependable.

When people scoff at it I simply ask them to let me shoot them once with a 22...... You can imagine how many talk then.

I've been tapped by a 22 round. Did a year and 6 months with the Pitt PD Not a great feeling once I realized... Didn't know I was wounded until I got to the car .. 16mm into my calf stuck in the muscle.

People scoff because a 22 has no knock down power. If your EXTREMELY accurate as well as Highly trained and a slow thinker fast actor.. you'll be able to subdue your target with a 22 round. But if your looking for a point and shoot with no worries ,Work for you gun.. Buy a 40 . A shoulder shot will...WILL put an average 200lb man on the cement.

A double tap of .22 anywhere will make anyone think twice about still coming forward, the more precise the shooting the better regardless what caliber but alas so many have zero training or life experiences to handle any kind of situation as a robbery or worse. Unfortunately I've ben exposed to many circumstances involving violence on multiple levels so shooting some asshole in the face is going to be second nature for me when the time comes. I actually look forward to someone trying to take my wallet or carjack me, I'm going to empty the clip in his dumbass.

A 22. Double tap headshot will take you out no mater how big you are and if it doesn't there's more to come, It's the perfect assasination round...

GOD I HATE THIS EXCUSE!!!!!!

I hate to be the bearer of truth. Most ammo has been in short supply for a rather long time due to the fact, that the GOVERNMENT has been buying it all up to support the 2 wars going on for the past 10 years or so.

That is my .02 carry on.
