Got the 20T pinion( had 15 before but wasnt too happy with the speed) and 4 90mm shocks for the foff now.Put on soft springs and 20wt oil and seems to be a perfect combination.

Might go out for a testdrive today if it get abit warmer outside since its -20 C atm.

It is very easy to use Clod axles
Get a set of 14mm wheel adaptors, a set of
Pro-Line maxx paddle tires
and a Jeep body
In Finland they also use Kyosho dual force axles
(itīs the 2nd foff car in this video)

Made some more work today. Made front and hood from 2mm aluminium. Added 4 3mm red leds in rear ( normal + brake function) and 2 10mm white leds( half strength and full strength when throttle).
Will add 2 more red leds in the back + 2 white leds for reverse.

Havent got any pics atm but shoot a short vid showing todays work. The vid was shot after a 20 min run in 5cm powdersnow ...

Spare Traxxas Half Shafts

Also i modifyed the Spektrum transmitter so i have a 3way toggle switch for the 3rd chan. The original A button is still functional.

How did you do this? I am wanting to do the same thing, but don't want to trash a $$$ radio.

Since i am not 100% happy with the wheelspeed with the 5000kv motor i deicided to get a 5700kv one( Dynamite C4 5700kv). Hopefully the Sidewinder will hold up to 3s on that motor or else i will use the Mamba Monster i have ordered for my 6x6 in this one

about a year ago I put an 11x2 and a set of Panther paddles on my TLT, it was a blast to drive.
starting at a standstill at the bottom of any hill I pointed it at, it would get air coming off the top.

So...are you actually powering the LEDs off of the wires going to the motor in order to get progressively higher voltage?

No i power it through a 3 Racing light unit. Works really well.

Also i had a minor misshap a few days ago. Lost some teeth on the gears in the transmission Seems to be sold out at rc4wd so trying to find them elsewhere.
