Lol thanks. Me to dang near uncontrollable on 5s. Soon as I can I plan to hit the dunes. 20 tooth pinion definitely woke it up. I may bolt the paddles on and go today even though its only 15deg out. |

the other day i ran the boggers with 6s and man the boggers realy put the power to ground and the rig is still semi controlable. it has enough to power to come out of sliding turn feather on the power and then flips over if to much trigger is applied. i also found some week links. smoked both stock axial lockers in about 270 mah worth of 6s power. i replaced with these and im loving them the are hot raceing lockers but are a full spool like on 1:1 rig. this is how the wraith looked after only a few minutes of part killing fun. thats how i have two 3s 2200s to creat 6s on board |

Looks like those stock gears are about toast too I'm surprised actually, that they held up 5s and 6s abuse. Last edited by Hacksaw707; 03-08-2013 at 08:29 AM. |

i just flipped the ring gear to other side on the rear axle same with front when i installed the new lockers. i honestly havent ran 5 and 6 cell much. i did do alittle messing around today with 6s and am loading the vid. 6s is pretty much just to much power the thing toruge rolls like an airplane |

+1 Looks a great place. I have to drive a while to get to sand, but not as big as that.

im getting more into this foffer sand ridding stuff. ran 5s and 6s on a big dune today. both 5 and 6s will climb unlimited vertical or dang near. lol this wraith haqs unlimited vertical. vid is loading with gopro onboard with some long steep climbs and a few pretty decent jumps on 6s. managed to go home with no breakage. max shafts holding up awesome. last run on 6s spit out the front stock wraith driveline almost instantly. on 6s the wraith almost handly more like a boat and throws a rooster tail about like it. ill be back shortly with the vid Last edited by evan03; 03-16-2013 at 08:42 PM. |

picked up a 1268 servo today. i broke a few cases on my cheap 8 dollar hextronic servos and pretty well ran them untill i didnt have enough broken servos to make one good one so i pulled align ds610(savox's rebadged 1258tg) and man 130 oz isnt enough to even realy steer with so i made a run to the hobby store offcourse they didnt hve 1230sg like i wanted and ive already researched the 1268 and the heli guys love it so i figure what the heck so used 70 bucks cash and 30 bucks on my debit card so the wife would think i only spent 30 bucks on it. lol should be about 300z on 6 volts and 347 on 7.4 ill have to get my castle 20amp bec bolted on this thing. ive i have enough motivation to build deans adapter to runlin inline with the esc. either way i was running 200z so 300 will be huge improvement and i have a heli servo if needed |

might be awhile. im working tommorrow and sunday i think the wife has plans and dureing the week ill be on the rd with the wraith and in crawler mode. offcourse ill pack paddles incase something comes up ;) ran this thing in the living room and man this servo i s wicked fast and snaps right back to center when the wheel is released on the carpet my other servos wouldn realy make it to a true center unless the rig was moving. |
