Damn Jerry you are probably one of the best if not THE BEST chassis builder I've ever seen on RCC. You sure have the technical and aesthetic sides covered in your siiiick builds. I'm still digging my Lucifer 2.2 KOH tuber you built me....12,000+ views on that thread already. Plus I just put on Wraith axles and some SSZ's looking super clean! And then...? Seriously Jerry, this is a bad ass rig. I searched it out because I'm finding I need more wheel speed and want to switch to the exo trans. I'm still trying to figure out the drive shafts since I'm putting mine in BWD whiplash. What's the latest with this rig?

up-date !
MASTER BLASTER 2.0
yes still around - together & running.

new up-dates the DmG's formula off.
been working hard on getting more speed out of the MB,
and now have finely found the combination that seems to be working real well.



first changed over the ESC from a mamba max pro to a Tekin T8 ESC.
this a-lone made a HUGE difference

replaced the homemade center locker with a Blue Monkey Yeti front locker.
the BM locker went right in the Vanquish EXO motor/trans mount - no mods need !





changed the motor from a 3000kv Novak 550 to a 4000kv Novak 550, may be running a Tekin HD Pro4 550 motor next.
went from 3 & 4 cell running - to a high discharge (130c & above) 2 cell packs !
13/54 gearing on 2 cell,
more than fast enough & no heat problems what so ever ! around 120 degrees in temps

this motor/battery with the new ESC has now turned it to a almost un-drivable BEAST !!

changed the front ring & pinion to a "over drive" gear set - to help with keeping it in a straight line



put some old MOAB pro-lines on it so i could run it more on mutable surfaces to do testing - now i need to try to balance the foam/tire some !
with the wheel speed its now running anything out of balance shows up - bad !


over all,
the new changes have made HUGE difference & its now where its crazy/fun to drive !
more KV on the motor - less battery = lower temps & weight = more fun !
