| Foff setup thoughts
Ok i have some pics of my foff rig ( its coming together slowly :l ) on rcc u guys are great with ideas and info ( RCC ROCKS !!! ) But i have a couple questions and would like to hear what you think. So check it out n drop some input. Total rig weight-------------- ( batt and all rollin up the hill ) Weight bias------------ ( how much front / rear and or center) And last but not least i feel little to none but i would like input, wheel weights fr, rear, none. Lets see what we come up with ? Should be interesting. |

My total rig weight is 5Lbs, I'm centered weight balance. Its jumps nice and level and it climbs awesome (I do have a 14" wheel base which makes it climb better) and you don't want any wheel weights, that's why most guys run plastic or delrin wheels to keep the wheel speed up/mass down. There is no right or wrong though | |

im about 5lbs 10oz's dont know where the extra weight is, but im looking at cutting back the ends of the chassis, and shortening the body which is abs plastic so may lose some weight there. no wheel weights as hacksaw says. light weight wheels for high speed. its 3lbs front, 2 1/2lbs rear as a Foff. if i put the battery in the back its near equal, then i use it as a trail truck. 13.5" wheelbase Last edited by M1tch; 01-19-2012 at 06:21 PM. |
