I like the spare, almost looks too good to not run it.

better performance without it though.

what kind of electrics are you going to run?

Wow this is weird...

I was just talking to my MRS about the new Vaterra twin hammers and I said

' The twin hammers is cool but it wouldn't fit in with trailing trucks well, It would be cool if it had a sloping back end and a jeep-like front end, it would be amazing with this style with the IFS and solid rear'

Low and behold I opend your thread and it was EXACTLY what I described but based on your own chassis!!!

FREAKY

BUT on the same note, I want to add my statement to her to your rig. It looks amazing (although I must admit i didn't/don't like the rear panhard with the 4link sorry)

I like the bumper and skid. Have you thought about putting some aluminum on the underside of the lower A-arms? It'd help it skid across instead of getting caught up on something. It might even add some bling.

HOLY CRAP, that look freaking insane. I love the bumper and skid, the spare tire would look great on a scaler but not on an FOFF.
Are you planning on an interior?

this is one of the coolest things I've ever seen, if you don't mind my asking, how much did it it cost for the parts?

I need to get a set of 2.8 sand paws for the true FOFF look. That will happen down the road.

Don't plan on interior, as I have never built a scaler and wouldn't know were to start; although if I could get the dimensions of those HPI drivers, and if they fit that would look cool.

I spent the last 6 months perusing Ebay for parts, took my time and low bid on stuff, and eventually scored everything I needed for the Exo front end for just under $80 dollars. Had the shocks, And I paid $40 dollars plus a old R2 dig tranny for the complete rear housing. ( and yes I knew the upperlink mount was drilled out)

I know the spare Isn't true FOFF, but I kinda like it, and most of these rigs don't really look like there big brothers........still deciding on that.

I'm sure you would be able to drop a Wraith interior in with some mods... Quick and easy?
Great build thus far and love the cage!!!

Ok i have mixed feelings.....chassis is awsome, tubework is sweet, stance is cool and the truck is just plan bada$$....but a ifs foff 72 chevy? I cant get over it, its just un-natural to me. But that aside, awsome build bud. I really really like the chassis setup. Bet you could sell those.

I agree with the wraith interior idea, I'm sure it'll work if you can fit it.
