Arrow Hacks I.F.S Gofastformulabasher thingy

Thanks to the power pf Ebay, and the fact that no one seems to want parts for the Exo, I threw together this thing for very little coin.

I like it. Is the aluminum frame from a "kit" or complete custom?

Ran out of room on the first post (a little picture heavy) The hardest part of this build so far was the fact I didn't have an exo skid so i just had to guess the hole layout for the most part. I used 1/4" delrin for the skid and some 3/16" aluminum for the sides and the front part of the skid that mounts the Exo bulkhead. I milled out the delrin an 1/8" to accept the Exo skid, which is tapped and sandwiches together. On the final assembly I may epoxy the to pieces as will, but I doubt it needs it as its super strong already. As for the rear its an Rc4wd centered Wraith housing i picked up new/used. I made a rear track bar as the upper link mounts had been drilled out and have a lot of slop that shimming alone didn't eliminate which caused a lot of axle sway. This solved that issue and works really will. I will be building a full tube cage top. Thats all for now.

That is some beautiful machining, but what's the reason for both triangulated 4 link and a panhard bar? There is no way they aren't going to fight each other.

Thanks,
The sway bar eliminates the axle sway, And due to the fact that the shocks have a short stroke they don't fight each other, at the very end of the compression cycle if both shocks are compressed it just barely pushes the axle to one side (maybe 1mm) but, its super smooth and does not bind at all, if it did it wouldn't be on here, This is not a scale touch, it's all gotta work

Sometimes you still need a panhard. I should have put one on my old AX10. It had some lateral movement on the rear axle. FWIW, my 4Runner is factory 4 linked and still needs the panhard to keep the axle centered.

That is some sexiness right there. The machine work looks spot on and the frame is just killer. Very very clean.

It's not a a sway bar, it's a panhard bar, and there is no way that it's not binding. Even if it's "maybe" pushing 1 mm to one side, it's binding everything. Sexy or not, it's not correct.

Good eye Eeepee.
I have one thing to say on the panhard bar, it needs to be longer on the chaasis. The mount needs to be on the outside of the chassis so it lines up over the axle like it is mounted to the axle. I had a real hard time with the first one I made, so this is what worked for me with out binding.

I original looked at all the pic's on my phone and didn't get a good look.

Sorry, Panhard or as circle track guys call it a Track bar: I'm just a dumb hick with little more than a 6th grade ed-u-macation.
