Working on mine as we speak! I am thnking of a Bronco body though, because I have three 1to1 and I love them, Though I havent seen any in the vids, I agree there should be a class for these at the comps because there is usually a great deal of stuff to climb at the cops for the crawlers. What tires are all of you guys running? Shocks? wheel base, I just got a associated b4 tranny for mine, I have a E-Savage twin motor tranny I might run, what do you think? I also have a set of alluminum bead locks, do you think they would be to heavy? I was planing on making the chassis about 70/30 ? and maybe running a small amout of bb's in the front tires? I am going to also be runnig 5 regular c 5000 mah batteries near the front down low. going to use TLT axles. Any input? |

i don't think there should be a crawling claas in this though because this is basically racing where as crawling's not it's more about skill.. some pople can out climb someone eve if they don't have a very good rig... it will kinda like drag racing today.. it's about skill sort of but it's mostly who can afford the biggest and the best of everything! same as football (soccer as you call it) it's not about who can train the best players it's about who can buy the best players.. just my £0.02

It would be a total seperate event. Too many crawler (purist's) out there. mabey if it was a national event with crawling,TTC(scale),rockracing, formula off-road then it could happen. IDK , prove me wrong . try putting on yur own event with both crawlers and Formula off-road then see who shows , might be alot for 1 guy to host ya could enlist some help. |

Just finished some mods to the WK. Lowered it with e-maxx shocks, stretched the front about a half inch. Still need to stretch the rear. Got a set of paddles, and I hope rcp can get my extra set of axials in the mail. Going camping next week and I cant wait to run this thing out. It is a total blast to drive. I am thinking up a chassis, something like a scale rig but long and low. I have got to get the battery out of the back, even with the stretch and the extra weight it still holds wheelies forever. Double weeeeee |

I'm building one of these but I'm gonna run the rear tires off a tamiya grasshopper. Due to the mouting system of the rear tire I may have to improvize but I think I have a solution. http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...081+&search=Go Last edited by BrockGrimes; 08-29-2007 at 06:20 AM. |
