| RC4WD shock questions.
Looking into getting rid of the factory Gmade shocks. The two I was looking at were the: RC4WD Krawler 110MM dual rate set - Is 110MM to long or would the 100MM be better? and RC4WD Scale 100MM shock set - Has anyone ran something like this before? It looks like a sealed setup similar to the factory. Just better made. I guess my only concern would be the spring rates being to stiff. I really LOVE the look of a sealed spring/shock. |

If you decide to go with 100mm shocks get the Proline Powerstrokes or Kyosho Velvet. Either of these are incredibly smooth shocks.

Hilarious so quick to bad mouth the Gtransitions but the RC4WD look better made? You might need yet a 6th thread for someone to direct you to the right button. |

But all of this would seem irrelevant to a tool with two posts right? | |

I only posted to point out your ridiculous filling of the page with many threads for the same car. Otherwise I'd still only have 1 But I still joined before you did, since that seems to matter to you. |

Three posts in and you're already making friends. Ironically your first post was in reference to crawling alone and how much you'd like one of the members here to give you a free sticker. |

I just moved here, that's why I don't know other crawlers. I invited a very active member of the forum since he's always down to crawl and he really likes crawling on my side of the mountain, Are you sure you know what ironic means? I'm sorry but I'm tired of people thrashing a product because they wrecked it up, then proceed to blame the product for their lack of skill. It makes it extremely difficult to discern what is a real problem with a car before you buy it, it makes forums more confusing or even discouraging than helpful. I suspect most old school forum users know this and just ignore this type of thread until it gets bumped down. Call me a fanboy if you want to but the G-transitions are the smoothest and best looking stock shocks I've built so far. I've only built 6 cars so it's not like I'm claiming expert, I'm just being objective. If you are careful building this shocks like you should whenever you are threading plastic into metal, you'll have a hard time finding something that works better for the price. Whatever you do, never use a dumb little plastic wrench and then cry when it doesn't work. Too late anyway GTSlow can't even be paid to use them now. Gmade is going to be crushed |

Sadly I had bad luck with my stock RC4WD shocks and didn't want to buy their "better" shocks. Sometimes stuff fails without being user error as the fault. Would you buy another Camaro if your first one was a piece of crap? Stuff happens and when it does, trying plan B before attempting plan A again is the better option.
