i have one of each. Im building a berg but im not taking my shafty apart to do it (just stealing some electronics). so with 20 minutes of work i can run either truck. Personally i would love 2.2 to stay all shafty, but seeing as that not happening, well as they say "if you cant beat them, join them" |

Shafties all the way. Moa's have better cog's but how realistic is that with motors on the axles? It's like we might as well put ducted turbo fan engines on crawlers to "Assist" in flying&floating over rocks. |

o.k guyz, i don't really have a preferred style of rig. so far i have only owned shafties. pretty much sold all of them off with an intent to buy the new losi. i just bought some bully's and gonna be running it on a tcs stick chassis. it's gonna be my first moa rig. i feel like moa's just don't have that realistic feel to it. versus the shaftie side of the sport it seems way more challenging and have a more true to real life rock crawling feel. this doesn't mean i don't like moa's any better than shaftes. i feel evryone should have a mini,2.2 shaftie,2.2 moa and a super in their arsenal. heck with the bergs already, just gets some bully comps!!
