All I know is all this talk about people being pissy made me need to piss, and I'm on crutches and can't hardly get to the bathroom. :-(

| Hell I would just be happy with MOA axles as option parts with the rest of them they already offer. If they would make an MOA axle i'm sure they would put a hell of a dent in Enroute's sales......I know that I would buy a set...So come on Bender, get Axial on the ball... |

For axial to give bergs any type of hard rub, they'd have to produce one hell of a strong MOA. If there is even a single plastic part on a Axial prototype, then I wouldn't even give it a second look. If they did produce an axle that is all metal, as strong or stronger than the berg, and competitively priced... even then they'd still have to one up the Enroute. Now granted, people will get them cause they want to be different. As for me, if they did offer a kit with axles as good as the berg: In addition: I'd like to see it come with rear lockouts in the stock kit. I'd also like to see an option for clocking the axles. I'd like to see more user friendly suspension mounting points and/or options. I'd also like to see a kit come with dig switches. And this is only what I've taught of as I type. I'm sure that if a sat down for a minute to think about it I'd come up with a whole lot of other things.

I don't see why they have to be all metal, make them backwards compatible with current axial C's and knuckles similar to Hot Racing but made of plastic would be cool. Make them plastic and afforable, let the aftermarket make the aluminum replacement parts for people who think they need it. |

platic MOA = bad idea There is no way that plastic would hold up I wouldn't be suprised if the axle housing exploded during it's first bind. plastic motor plate. doh! Last edited by helhedded; 03-25-2009 at 04:00 PM.

Based on the fact that Super drivers would rather have the stock plastic gearcases on their clod axles, I would think they could definately get away with that part being plastic and maybe aluminum on the rest of it. As far as those thinking Axial couldn't produce a better axle than Bergs, I'd also like to point out the fact that most people running Berg axles are running Axial stub shafts. That says alot to me as to how much better an Axial brand MOA axle could be. |

Plastic, no i would not even give it a second look. if you saw how hard i drive my berg and get it bound up there is no way plastic would hold up. OK yes clod centers are plastic but look at the size difference between them, the gears are about three times the size of bergs. |

Why don't they make a MOA Super axle...? And improve on their own Shafty to compete with Losi's new one....? Or do they think they can't top the Losi...

The main reason that I've seen the plastic centers being used is because it slides on rocks better. But I've also seen people make some thin plastic skins on the bottom of berg axles to help them slide. I'd just rather buy an aftermarket plastic skin for my axle(likely pretty cheap), than have to upgrade tubes, knuckles and so on and so on.
