Being that I live on a farm, we have recently been using the cattle paths for trail running. It might sound odd, but there is very little work involved and it is constantly changing.

Love backyard crawl spots, it's the only place no one can tell you how it's gonna be...!

Damn, you guys have some great personal courses! I just built a 8'x12' shed in my backyard and have a decent sized spot that I can build a little course on. Now that it's hidden from view (ie: wife can't see it easily) I have permission to go ahead and build one!

Hey rastaman can you upload a couple of back yard shots for us? I like both courses and gardens, I would say course styled rock gardens.

Dude that's awesome! Some day I will have a indoor crawler course, it would be sweet to get a shed like your saying and have that little rc getaway

I guess I wasn't clear with my post...I wish I was able to use the shed for an indoor course....I just mean I can now hide a course behind it out of view of the wife....lol...but, it's in the corner of my fenced yard so I should be able to get a course around 15'x10' now its just sourcing materials....there is a local spot where I can get free pallets and now its just about collecting rocks.

Here is a link to my setup behind my Warehouse! I have moved a few rocks here and there and did a lil shovel work. It has become a great course this past summer, cant wait for the cold weather!

My reading was not clear, lol. None the the less congrats on being able to get that course goin, nothin like having the crawling itch and being able to walk out your back door and get your fix!

Here is my backyard test and tune area so far, it grows every time I gather a couple more rocks.

Tons of good ideas in here..........

I started clearing the brush out of the back yard, have a massive spot to build a course in, the wifes cool with whatever, but I figure if it looks natural-ish, she'll be happier, likely end up U-shaped totaling about 120' and 6' wide or so......Should make a good spot for me and the kids.

My future coarse. its about 8' high and covers a decent area. I hope to start cleaning up in nice weather and be running by spring.
