indoor courses are cool, but at 1/10 its hard to keep my attention. you usually can drive over everything in a matter of minutes or its not challenging enough or not enough space, hard to really change. its cool just alot of work. I just ordered a losi micro crawler for the indoor. many more options on an indoor course.. |

a few months back on youtube I seen a vid of this guy building an indoor rock course. I tryed to find it for ya but had no luck so here is the just of it. he took plywood & cut up a bunch of styrofoam & glued it to the wood with peeks & valleys. then cut the foam to shape it up a bit. then put some spray foam on top of the normal foam & cut that a bit to shape where needed. then he sprayed the whole thing with truck bed liner as to not harm the foam so it wont come apart & adds a rock like finish. he made some stands for it & also had other pannels to add or change it up.

Put some concrete in the basement! Wife was happy.. not.. lol. Its really more of a test pile so I can dial in some breakovers and side hills. The little round dusty rocks are actually challenging to get up on because they are pretty slick |

Something that my friend and I started doing at work: During our lunch breaks, we open random drawers on the shelves and practice taking runs at huge gaps or large climbs. We can usually use boxes or whatever junk is lying around at the time. At the end of our break, it only takes a minute to put things back. The best part is that each time is a completely new challenge because we build it new every day. |
