I can fix you up man. I live in St Helens, but have buddies in that neck of the woods I could probably have meet you, and get the thing. I wouldnt charge anything to do it so long as you arent in a rush. I am proficient at brazing, and could even mock everything up, and have my buddy tig it for ya. I am not the best welder in the world, but I am well enough, and clean up my work and have standards for what I send to my customers. This was the last scaler I build a couple years ago. Not many pics, but you get a very small idea of what I can do. Scale Hybrid I also have some nice DOM tubing stock on my bench. That stuff is super tough, and welds way nicer than brake line. PM me if you are interested |

It's not difficult to keep work looking nice. Now I don't weld (Tig,Mig, etc.) so I can't criticize anybody's weld jobs, but I have just recently started brazing with safety-silv. Keep in mind I have never brazed before, let alone fabricated anything out of steel, and this is what I ended up with on my first two projects. It just takes a little time, practice and patience. Give a try and then you won't have to worry about shoddy work. |
