| OK, I will start by changing these tiny tires by larger and more slackness. When they are installed, I will make you some photographs . Therefore, not question of test for the moment. Moreover, I have to buy a JEEP NYLINT 1:18 to be able to work the body and to have spare parts. I surely will receive it in 15/20 days. Here a photograph which shows to you the pace that will once have my SCORPION these tires (BUBBA' S/BIG BEAST 4WD 110/60/WH 52 installed. On the photograph, I just placed them in front of those of the SCORPION to see the effect. That seems to me very correct, for the moment. I made a small test this morning, I wanted to make him mount a tire on the wall and it did not succeed, it slipped, it jumped, it could not raise the foot, I took my YELLOW-CRAWLER… and all the difference was there. I have to decide to change the tires at this time. (( JOB # 1 CHANGE THE TIRES. )) THANK Last edited by texx; 09-30-2006 at 08:05 AM. |

we all love tex's work over on the other site... he was one of the 2 that actually tore the crappy newbright axles apart and slapped a couple new motors and an extra gear to get the ratio down enough to get some decent torque.

| HELLO, I have to finish the installation of my tires BUBBA on my SCORPION , THEM I MADE A SMALL TEST ... when I received my SCORPION , I had to try to make it climb on the washing machine and that did not have to function:-( and I had to decide to change his tires, now it can do it and I ... am very HAPPY,:-P in the passing I have to place 4 small ( O ring -solid plastic ) on the end of the plastic rims which fit on the shaft, to return them more extremely, I believe that they are not too large, his speed is just a little more quickly, I have to turn small VIDEO to show you the performance of these tires which are very soft................ JOB # 2... ............. CUT MY 4 SHOCK-SPRING http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VCa6gn7VnwMVIDEO/VIDEO/VIDEO Last edited by texx; 10-03-2006 at 02:03 PM. |

| HELLO. I have to cut my springs (1 rolling up) .... for the moment.... I made a small test to see of how much it could raise the foot ...... result = 5 inches, I believe that it is rather well ............... when think you ? With the cut shocks, the suspension is softer and it works better Here some photographs of these modifications and the test ... as long as he does your axle mod, getbent, he should be fine running those tires. Let's hope so anyway, because those tires look nice.

| Hello............ I received this morning my JEEP-NYLINT, I will have spare parts ( for my SCORPION ) and I will be able to work over again the jeep/body, I took some photographs of the jeep with tires (BUBBA) of the scorpion, I believe that this dimension of tires suits him well I do not have a videos for the moment on the work of these tires but that will come a little later.( The time here is very bad .)... JOB # 1 ... CHANGE THE TIRES ............... OK JOB # 2.... CUT THE SHOCKS.....................OK JOB # 3.... LENGTHEN THE FOOTING....... My next modification will be surely to lengthen the footing of the SCORPION of ( 1/2- 3/4 ) inch, that will surely help it to climb. I consult with attention your forum and i find it very interesting .............. THANK YOU http://www.putfile.com/blackfly1900/images/18396 Last edited by texx; 10-03-2006 at 12:21 PM. |
