Hello,.. . during the latter 8 months, I have to modify the NEW-BRIGHT and that has to bring much pleasure to me... And for my birthday, my wife gives me small a crawler ( 1:18 SCORPION ), (( a large kiss for it ))to buy on ( EBAY ), I will receive it soon... I would like to modify it, ( TO IMPROVE ITS PERFORMANCES ) but I do not know by or to start. If you had a small list of the principal modifications to make to begin, ( If possible ) that would help me much. ..Then, I would make suitable research on this FORUM, for realized these modifications. ... THANK YOU. TEXX ..

HELLO .. FRIENDS ... I read in an article yesterday evening that 1:18 did not have (((THE PROPORTIONAL THROTTLE ))) that disappointed me a little :-( . NO .. VVVRRROOOUUUMMM ... VVVRRROOOUUUMMM... . I believed that all models NYLINT had this option. .. thus. I am tallest of the beginners on this question).... How does it behave on the rock without ((THE PROPORTIONAL THROTTLE ))? ? ... I was accustomed of me to be useful about it with the new-bright.... To lead it is also pleasant?? ….. Therefore, there is no acceleration? …. I am judicious to receive my (( SCORPION 1:18 )) today,:-P I will open my door with love nevertheless to him….. . And I will leave my magnifying glass and will make the whole of the owner…. surely. ..... THANK YOU .....TEXX

if you get the items on ebay it shouldnt be much.
look for:
traxxas tq3 radio and reciver, ive seen them sell as little as 15.00.
a standerd futaba 3003 servo $10.00 new or a traxxas 2055 will work fine.
a moped esc, associated 18t esc should run between 25-40 dollars.

its well worth it in the long run.

It does not have this (LARGE BELLY) and that really arranges me.
I will start by studying it and I will see which modifications are essential for better performances.
Like the other members of this forum, I will give you news of my modifications when they are carried out.
I will test this crawler on the rock (small rock) : -) to make me a small idea of its capacities.
Thank you
did you think it was the larger nylint ? im glad you got it.

HELLO ...TRICKEDOUTNYLINT06.... On my videos, they are the tires stock of the NEW-BRIGHT....
To have tires softest possible is the first rule to follow to be able to climb the mountain. You are right entirely,...... it is never too late for making well.
Those of the NYLINT are already softer, that should go.
################################################## ######################
I knew that it was small TWISTED but when I held it in my hands, it is there that I really saw the difference with a crawler 1:10. .... MY FIRST 1:18 ..
I find it very well to manufacture and I am certain that this crawler will give me satisfaction on the rock.
Its speed LOW seems to me perfect for the SLOW-CRAWLING.
Tomorrow, if time allows it, I will go on the mountain with my SCORPION
… and perhaps will reach us the top :-)

Even though it's called 1/18th scale, the body and wheels are actually 1/12th scale... funrise just for some reason called it 18th. let's put it this way, a real jeep cj is about 66 inches wide across the fenders, in 1/18th scale that would only be about 3 3/4 inches wide. now that WOULD have been cool, a crawler that small.

TRICKEDOUTNYLINT06 ..... My crawler do not make a LIVING ROOM,... they go on the rock/the CRUSHED ROCK/on snow/the slopes/mud/sand/they draw and they push… I make my possible to make them take the air, that keep them in form: -)
