| Axle choice
Ok i am thinking I'm going to start an moa build. I have gone through a bunch of build threads, I have narrowed my axle choices to bully 2 and berg v1. I feel like the bully 2 would be the better choice because of parts availability and the fact that it's actually in production. Am I wrong in thinking that the berg is NOT the way to go just for this reason? I know lots of vendors still make parts for the v1, but people are starting to make them for the b2 as well. There are bamf builds going on with both ATM and it's dang near impossible for me to decide.

I still buy berg v1 stuff. IMO there are more parts available for v1s than any other. If i were to build a set right now to play back up to my 2 sets, they'd be berg based

$410.00 for Bully2's that need nothing done to them or $850-$1000+ into a set of custom Bergs to make them comparable to the Bully2's, pretty easy choice if you ask me. In fact I like the Bully2's so much I will be switching out my fathers built Berg axles for them. |

| Re: Axle choice YES Here is some more info on axles that could help. You could then build either a Berg or a Bully2 front axle to compliment it: Assembled, lightweight rear axles |

| Re: Axle choice From what I've read in the bully section they are very close. If anything you may have to adjust them a tinny bit. The rodends are threaded on so they are adjustable. Are you thinking of going Bully2 front and Dlux MT/Exceed rear? I think this is a good option because you also save money because you won't have to buy knuckle weights. The huge difference between the front and rear axle takes care of the weight bias for you. |
