Our worst nightmares: CONFIRMED

I have a feeling it may look a little something like the 2013 Jeep Stitch concept.

I know. I myself hope this is not actually what we've all been waiting for. Other than the Walker Evans wheels it could be a Slash4x4 with this jeep-esque body; that I've yet to ever see.

The silhouette looks gay as hell. I bet its an exo chassis with crappy entry level cheap components. "axial telluride jeep"

The apparent servo location says that's a traxxas rig with a Jeep body not anything from axial. I searched rc driver and google and found squat...

I would guess that is supposed to be a scaled down version of the #4570 Jeremy Purick & Justin Zmieske KOH YJ... Biggest hint: they just posted 48 pics to the axial facebook page:

The proportions, the fire extinguisher, the spare tire, the window net, etc... All point to this vehicle.

So where's the something "NEW"???? OH OK I SEE IT! It's a "NEW" JEEP BODY..I don't think I'll be adding any more Axial trucks to my collection. Or should I say not adding another jeep to my collection.I know it doesn't matter to them that one guy like me isn't happy about this new item. BUT it seems like I'm not the only one that's unhappy......So axial.....Thanks for a "new" jeep body......

It seems like you're correct...and any SCX based truck is NOT GO FAST. If this is what it is, it's a HUGE disappointment! FAWK! Axial you gotta be kiddin me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

An IFS/SRA U4 type rig would be go fast and cool....and actually new.

I don't see suspension links, which leads me to believe this is IFS... but that's not what the 1.1 has, so I don't really understand it.

Maybe they are working on this AND something else go fast.
I've heard rumors of IFS wraith from a few different sources, and all logical signs point that way.

Maybe, just maybe, they are working on wraith and SCX based IFS rigs?

I've heard up to 6-8 new rigs for Axial this year. RC Drag Boat being one of them.

It looks like Axial is ready to completely disappoint and abandon thousands of us; in order to gain tens of thousands of new customers. Go Traxxial. The only way they will keep my business now is if they release a SCX chassis only kit. I don't need anymore Jeeps or poor attempts to try compete wth traxxas.

Don't count out that Falken G6 yet. It's coming RTR I would put big money on it. That body is screened not hand painted. It's already in production somewhere over seas I'm sure.

could it be this though maybe?

oh boy. My guess is that the new Cheopo lightbar was developed for this rig not the "New" SCX that it was re-re-re-re-released on.
