| questions about screws for chassis...
I made some chassis plates nothing special. got the skid plate made up. I need to buy a new drill bit to drill out the holes for the rod ends. I figure revo ends. what should I get 3mm holes or 4mm.. and what size drill bit should I get to start the holes, I figure I will just use self tapping screws through the balls into the skid.. thanx |

If you're talking about through the hollow ball yes 3mm. However I'd make the chassis side hole 1/8" and threaded side in the skid 3/32" (2.4mm), if I'm visualizing your skid correctly. This allows the 3mm screw to pass through the chassis rail/side of the skid and thread into the center portion. Hope that makes sense... |
