Default Don't know what to call this problem

I just replaced my stock driveshafts with MIPs. I tested it out and noticed how the front tires seemed to have a slip when moving while the back ran smooth. Not sure if it's the driveshaft causing the problem or what. Any suggestions?

post a video maybe?

i read this as the front end has some slack in the drivetrain since replacing the shafts.

If so it could either be loose/misaligned set screws on the new front shaft OR the new shafts are nice and tight, therefore showing you how worn your front gears/locker actually are.

Somethings you can try to help us help without a video.

If you hold one front wheel, can you rock the other in hand? Less than 1/8 turn should be ok, more than that the locker / axle shafts are worn.

If the previous test seems ok, how loose does the driveshaft feel before the tires begin to pull? There should be a slight amount. Also check to see if/how much the pinion shaft can move in & out. Only enough so that its not binding the bearings is good. Either of these issues can indicate worn ring/pinion gearset or the need to shim the gears

I'll also say this again. I bet the issue was already there only unnoticed. By eliminating the slop of the old driveshafts now you see the next point down the line
