Any more my crawling style is on my hands and knees heading to or from the commode (insert snare sound bit here.) When driving the trucks slow & low is the tempo. I prefer a light rig on 3s, 35-55T Brushed (someday I will get rich and step up to sensored brushless.) I focus as much as possible on my line & throttle control. Don't care how cool the truck looks as long as it crawls good. |

love to go low and slow over and up the technical bits , but when I hit flat ground covered in pine needles there is just something incredibly gratifying about drifting my honcho all over the place and tossing scale out the window

Slow and precise. Never even broken a knuckle or c-hub. People have to get beef tubes bc they drive crazy as hell and snap axle housings. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk |

Beef tubes aren't used simply because of strength. It's awesome to be able to tighten a screw and not be so worried about pulling the plastic threads at .0002 inch lbs of torque. Weight in the axles is far better than weight in the wheels since it's not rotational weight that can cause breakage and impede acceleration.

I run beef tubes, aluminum c-hubs, knuckles, servo mounts and lockouts because most of the places I like to crawl can have very serious consequences if i dont make it and many times i dont but its a real rush when you pull off a line you never thought you could make on a 10ft 50+ degree rock face. I also got tired of all the screws always coming loose in the plastic. Locktited screws in aluminum/brass fair much better and all the added weight is low. My wraith is geared for 8mph top speed so I am certainly not bashing it. Last edited by linklemming; 06-02-2016 at 12:25 AM.
