Is there any pro or con in putting the driveshaft female side on the output shaft in the diff or on the transmission? I have the idea that the male side should be on the bottom so dirt, sand and debris will come out... with gravity..... do that idea sound right?

TF2 with teraflex shackles.... I needed longer shafts so I had to put Junfac scx10 honcho length shafts under it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

If your talking about MIPS, yes female on tranny output and male on axle pinion. That's how I run mine.

Junfac much more scale looking than MIP, but prolly slightyl less strength. I run female end on pinions and male at transmission prevents rock rash on splines better and imo keeps dirt and junk out of them better.

Always ran MIPs. Just got some Junfacs for my TF2, either I ordered the wrong length or Amazon mixed it up. Grabbed a cut of wheel, cut the 1/4" of spline off the female end Garbage. I'll weld it back up and clean out the bore, what a stupid (weak) design. |

For all my years I've run female at the axle so I don't trash the splines on the male side. Which happens.
