If I remember right the ecx brand is under Horizon. I could be wrong.

The maxstone16/ everest 16 came out after the ecx temper 18. Which came out when the losi mini crawler rtr was out and the mini crawler pro was coming out that was around 2011-2012. The slickrock was a gen 1.5 of the losi mini crawler. Now that ecx has improved the axles they have came out with a gen 2 temper which is very slickrock mixed with the losi mini crawler.

The ecx/ftx/rgt/hps is a scaled rig of those cloned losi mini crawler. The only thing different between all of these brands is ecx is listening to customers and improving the crawler and bringing out generations

Barrage 1.9 gen 1
Doomsday gen 1.5
Builders kit gen 1.5
Barrage 1.55 gen 2
All getting better as they go.

The others all stalled and stuck with the same rig not changing much if at all. Or decided to make more of a clone of the scx10.
