Default esc problems

my esc is getting power. there are lights on it. I plug it into a reciever and the lights start to flash like it's just waiting to pair. but then the reciever isn't getting power. what's going on. I assume it's my wiring, can anyone enlighten me?

the reciever and transmitter are paired yes.
and it's a tazer mini brushed esc dyn4820wp
yes everything is plugged in correctly. I know it's the esc because I can plug another esc into the reciever and it will power up and work normally, but wherever I plug this esc into any other receiver there are no power lights indicating it has power

if your using a 2s lipo or any battery between 4 and 8 volts pluged in to the reciver than your steering will work with out the esc even pluged in cause the reciver is being powered by the battery directly
when you say your getting beeps but no steering or throtle thats because the reciver isent reciving power if your reciver did have power your steering would still work the beeps are because the esc isent getting a signal from the controler
the other esc your using you say it dose work so your reciver is good

so its not the reciver

your discribing a clasic battery eliminator circut failure

to fix it buy a new bec

you can get a cheap one for $2 or a realy good one for $20 and there are alot of in between units out there

your discribing the same problem i had yesterday add a new bec and its all good again

the bec going out is vary commin alot of people dont even use the built in bec and go stright to a external bec right out the box

aftermarket bec can usualy handle more amps then the internal bec so if your using a high torque servo and or lights then your gona need a external bec

Usually done by holding throttle on TX on full while turning ESC on. Then reverse, then neutral..... check your manual. Bind first, then calibrate.

Hang up and Drive
