Default Ready to upgrade, advice

I bought the Trail Honcho this past winter. Upgraded and drove the heck out of it, and now i feel ready to upgrade to the next level Crawler. I'm having surgery soon followed by a 6-8wk recoup time which would be perfect for putting together a crawler kit. Would like some advice on a next level crawler purchase, and appr prices. My budget would be 600-800.

I am a big fan of the Vanquish kits myself. Solid rigs that need no upgrading out of the box. Either version (Ultra or Pro) are great and will be a great addition to your fleet.

If you get an AXial 10.3 kit that leaves you money to upgrade the electronics, wheels, etc... Or don't get another crawler at all and just heavily modify your Honcho, you even have time to paint and install a new body if you want a fresh look.

Not sure what your terrain is like, but if you’re ready to make a jump the lcg craze is what it’s cracked up to be.. if your terrain allows it. You would be on the higher side of your budget, but you could do a gspeed v3 chassis kit axial 3 gear trans or enduro trans take your pick of axles and go from there. Unfortunately a lot of stuff is hard to find in stock lately. I’ve got rigs mild to wild myself, 4.19 scx10.3, scx10.3 in a flatgekko lcg, a 10.2 in a corrupt Carbon works land shark and a gspeed carbon 6x6. I guess a little background would help us persuade you lol

If I had to pick a kit right now in that budget, I'd go with the Trail King. You can easily get the chassis, electronics, tires/wheels, and body for it in that budget, and if you shop smart, even have some left over. And possibly even squeeze in a hardbody if that's your thing.
