I always thought that the jumbo's rim has a bigger diameter than a standard maxx rim. Are they the same diameter? Anyway, that is an awesome project, It'll be even better with a tube frame. |

Sounds interesting, I can’t wait to see some progress so I can steal your ideas for my X-Factor axled project.

Griz, You are dead meat now!!!!!! Customcrawler, the diameters are so close, the IMEX wheel, tires and Maxx wheels, tires are all interchangeable. I ran Jumbos on RPM maxx wheels for quite some time. No tube frames for me, however, I will have a small cage that bolts to the chasis for this project. Neo, Stealing is good. |

Seriously though, arent you worried that with the width of the xfactor axles and the height of the tires you might have trouble with hanging on the diffs? Wouldnt using the TXT axles and being a little narrower be a better combination?

Yes Griz. To most amature builders and Clod drivers, I can see why you might think that. However, I have a few tricks up my sleeve. Keep in mind that, even the Digler, being as big as it is, is only slightly wider than a clod with wideners. Also, if the Krocks are a true 7 inches, then I will only lose .5 inch compared to the Kongs. When I ran the BFT's on the Digler, it did very well but I had to be a little more careful about the lines I took. I'm hoping to get this new truck geared low enough that I'll have ultimate control for tire placement. |

Jeez Pete, make up your mind. And give me those TXT axles :P Hey man you need to give me a call... I got some ideas that when applied will make the clods bow down to the shaft driven trucks Anyways...keep up the good work. BD is looking/sounding nice.

No, really it was the was he set it up, as tall as he could get it, almost no steering, and extremly stiff shocks with no oil in them. I think you all could learn something from him

Not yet. By next week, I'll have some updated pics with the Xfactor axles, caged body, etc. It'll probably be running at 100% by late next week.

I'll still have a TXT based truck though. So I'm not a total TRADER. I think the clearance is about 3 to 3.5 inches, slammed! |
