Tamiya 1/10 TOYOTA BRUISER ** PRE ORDER**

Yeah pretty cool stuff. Too bad I don't have money like that. Even if I did, I'd probably rather have a decked out XR-10 or 2-3 other rigs instead of one nostalgic $1300 kit. It's Tamiya though. Best stuff out there but you've gotta pay to play.

I really like the RC4WD Trailfinder 2 over this personally...

Very cool but definitely not $1300 cool...I won't be owning a Bruiser anytime soon at that price. Why so freaking much???

I don't think it will cost that much in the end, but Tamiya will sell tons of them none the less. I'm waiting for a rere Blazing Blazer. Check out the video on you tube it is pretty awesome. TAMIYA 1/10 TOYOTA 4X4 PICK-UP BRUISER - YouTube

This would be a cool addition to my small collection but i can't bring my self to purchase one...yet.

My electric collection consists of an AX10, SCX10, and an AXIAL based Wreckluse, so i can't see myself jumping on the TAMIYA bandwagon especially with the amount of spare parts i have.

Don't get me wrong, the truck looks awesome and the gear box would be considered a jewel. Unfortunately every time I look at a close-up picture of the truck I notice the Phillip screws through-out the kit and it makes me cringe. ALLEN SCREWS PLEASE! ALLEN SCREWS!

I guess i will have to think about it some more...

i got mixed emotions on this one. it's nice to see tamiya finally coming out with something that the masses have wanted for years now, but to offer it almost as crude as the original release despite what the rest of the demand calls for is kind of silly to me. i mean right off the bat, those stupid hubs again ? really ?

i like that the body set is going to be available. i do love toyotas, but cross this with the newly released kit from another manufacturer and we should see a complete onslaught of yotas... hooray.

speaking of that other manufacturer, putting these two kits side by side in online and hypothetical daydreams, i will be picking the other kit. it's very similar to the looks of the tamiya kit but the quality and composition of items offered in the competition's kit unmeasurable.

hooray tamiya, but your about ten years too late.

Still like the original better and for $1300 someone could buy an original. Could by a few trailfinder 2's for that price.

^ If you had read through the posts, this kit has a street price significantly less than the 1300 list price. 750 from RPP pre order.
