Default link lengths, setup, & wheelbase

I know everyone has their own ideas of what is perfect...but i'm curious of there is a consensus regarding "ideals"

I ran into a slight problem when I built my H3T- xcab. I had it setup to be around 11.5''. However, to get the body to fit, the wheels to fit and all that I ended up having to push the front out a ways. I will be using 100mm links (could even use 106 if I run larger tires) The problem is that after already building the tube bed, it means I'm running roughly a 70-75mm rear lower link. I am scared that's going to be too short. That also only puts me at ~ 11.25'' wb for a Class 2.

On my Class 1 crew cab Hilux I ran 98mm front and I dont' recall the rear (I think around 91mm) That works fine, but I worry the shorter links on the H3 are going to be a problem.

Does anyone see a problem with that? Has anyone ran something similiar? What do you "shoot" for when you build?

I don't see a problem with it. I generally try to use shorter links up front and the longer ones in the rear for a 40/60 weight bias, but that's just me. I like having more weight towards the front on my builds, but I can totally understand your predicament.

Well that's good. I'm hoping that with the Pitbulls you sent me I will be able to push the back a little further out. I have been measuring with Iroks, and at 4.65'' I think they are just too big for this build....so I'm hoping with the different tires I can get another 5-10mm out of the back...once I have them I will be able to mock them up and see how they sit in relation to the tube bed.
