Default New Bright chassis advice

Hi all.. I am trying my hand at building a rig using a New Bright body. Lots of inspiration here. I'm debating between GCM cross canyon or TSS chassis using the forward mounted rc4wd R2 trans. I've seen lots of info on GCM, looks like a great setup. I have yet to see the TSS set up. Anybody here use this setup? And maybe posts some pics? I would greatly appreciate it. Here are a few pics of what I have so far. Don't have much spare time so it is slow going.

I have a couple 4-door JKs and a China 2-door. The China JK is my next build when I'm done building my prerunner and I'll definitely be using GCM. Can't beat their packages with links, motor mount, transfer case, and chassis all ready to go. Even their own axles look pretty good.

I've used the GCM on the NB and have been very happy with it. No experience with the Tcs. Might also check out Dinky RC' s divorce kit and cantilever rear suspension, it would work good as well.

Yes the GCM is the whole package for sure and that is the way I'm leaning. As far as the links, I'm set on titanium, VP has a good selection of different sizes and with the combination of short and longer rod ends I believe I can make it work. Although the expensive route. The TSS utilizing the R2 trans and getting rid of some bulk is intriguing. I would still like to see the TSS setup to make up my mind. The the cantilever setup is pretty cool! Thanks for the comments guys!

Worked on the interior, had some trouble with Tamiya paint, Krylon fusion bonded great. Touchup time.

Motor forward using either GCM or TSS chassis, GCM uses Axial trans and TSS uses rc4wd R2 trans

i'm soon putting together my thread/build.

I do not know what to do for a chassis yet.
I think i'm going scx10 base. was gonna use a cheaper redcat Everest 10 and slowly upgrade it, but I think scx10 would be better.

either way will all the guts of the scx10 fit either of those chassis plates, if I just bought the plates no the 300$ kit

Still haven't decided and yes all the Axial parts are compatible

I'm just going with the simple lighting, no working brake lights.

I used auto bondo to fill the holes.

Well I took the plunge and ordered the GCM basic Cross Canyon kit. It seems to be the proven platform and best bang for the dollar. Next will be ti links.....

Cant wait to see what you do with it all.

I have king socks now, I have a feeling the reservoir is going to get in the way in the rear. Cross that bridge when I get there.
