Today I got me a used Frankenstein

Today my local hobby shop hosted a swap meet kind of thing and I got an Axial bomber on Axial rift axels with a HW fusion 1900kb. Can’t see why the different axels but everything works. I got all that for $200.
Then I got a Futaba 4PM with 2 R304SB receivers for $100, and last from a third guy some esc’s a bec a new 3s battery and a little gadget tjat i don’t know what it does for $15.
I spent most of the day taking Frankenstein apart, cleaning and greasing it.
Quite happy with the whole thing.








I Have No CLUE WHAT THIS IS. Any ideas? Seems lile something for light?

Hella day shopping the swaps.
That does look like an electronic on/off switch with 4 light outputs on it. Think the Apex type look like that with the output pins for 4 lights.

Thanks you guys. I’m really happy with the car and the futaba controller. I didn’t realize the receivers are that pricey $60 each. I got 2 with it and was thinking on getting one more. Likely I just use the 2 on my 2 favorites and get 2 more for the sky fly gt5 for about $20.
So do you think turn light bars on and off remotely. I’ve tried all the channels on the gt5 and none did anything at all. The bar only has 2 wires though, no white.

ya the lights only have + and - leads, but the other output is a 3 wire with signal (white). Like a servo.

May need to have the channel setup, it may be bad, etc... Maybe just plug it into chnl 2 and use the steering wheel and see if if does anything. if yes, then its a channel programming fix, if no, the board may be failing etc. If you Amazon rc on/off switch, and look up Apex or search Ebay for Apex rc on/off switch and you may see the same or similar board to compare with yours.
