John can you give me a quote for some packs to run in an E-Revo? Im using 2 8.4 4000mah packs now. I would like to stay close to the same volt/mah that I have now.

I would be highly interested in two 3s pyramid packs ready with deans and taps but I cannot seem to find a way to order them through your site? Darn how did I miss this thread.

I will only have them for order when they hit the shores.

TLTryan- however many cells you want, multiply times $10 for your pack cost. 6 cells would be close to the same of what you have, constructed 3s2p.

Yeah, that is easy. My bike packs will be 6s2p, and on the larger packs we can get a plastic hard case.

Definately interested in a 10S1P pack....probably two at these prices...maybe 3! And a couple 2S1P packs...maybe 3. What's an XH-style balance connector? Is this the same as the Cellpro 10S connector?

I can wait...going to be a while before the helicopter is assembled anyways.

They are in customs right now. Not sure what the cellpro uses.

It is the same as the align tap. These are the JSt xh taps. Go to maxamps and look at there pics and you will see the align ones.

Just got them in as loose cells. I decided to not get them built up in packs since it was taking so long to get it done. I may offer pack building services later, if I have time.

I have not messed with these before but they look to be great for a rock racer . I was thinking of a four cell pack (two on each side).

A few questions
- first I know that they take a special charger to charge them
- second, can these be wired up just like any Nimh battery?
- anything special that has to be done to them to make them work properly.

These do need a LiFe (a123) charger, but you can use a 12v lead acid setting for 4s packs. An occasional balance is a good idea.

Otherwise they can be wired up like any other battery. A low voltage cutoff is good to have to keep them running strong for years. If you don't use a LVC it can reduce cell life.

I've been running these in my rig for the last 6 months. came from a Devolt pack.
I wired up three cells to make 9.9v in a triangle shape they work great but are a bit high.
Good cells IMO.

If i were to make a 3s should i just solder wires directly to the cells? Any danger in doing it? Im not bad at soldering but may need a better iron for this application.

I use a big pistol grip 140 Watt one I bought from lowes. It heats up the end where you solder but does it quick enough that it doesn't overheat the cell.
