![]() With that being said, I've really only put one real trail run on this truck. It was excellent. It performed well and I didn't have any issues. The only thing it needed was universals which are now, after all this time, available. And universals are included with the Venture kit so I honestly can't tell you what it's Achilles's heel will be. I also didn't compare the Venture to my SCX10 II in the same situations so I also can't tell you which is the better all out performer. The Venture probably has slightly bigger pumpkins and more hangup points on the bottom of the axle. So the honest answer, I can't tell you what's the better truck nor can I tell you what issues this truck will have. I think the Venture SKB kit is a better deal than the SCX10 II Raw kit because it comes with good shocks unlike Axial's plastic junk. The SCX10 II does include all the links needed to create a truck with the three various wheelbases, but do you need those? I know I wouldn't. They'd sit in a box unused.

HPI for stock-ish use The Venture, IMO, has: a better chassis better layout (motor/servo over axles) better steering (behind axle) better plastic compound (Axial seems so soft) better stock accessories I've changed a few things on mine, and it's amazing, and will likely not see any further upgrades CVD's battery relocation and chassis brace (3D printed) high-clearance rear bumper (3D printed) Hyrax tires (class 1) So unless you want to go all out, switch to portals, change to metal axles, etc, then HPI is damn good... but parts are minimal as it's not as popular. I hear you! The SBK has the CVDs as stock, and the other features are so appealing. I have a VS4 that is awesome and bulletproof, Brushless . This one I want to go revolver or 16t handwound for a different feel in the same areas. Hang up and Drive

No idea. I don't have a Revolver, but I'm planning on ordering one soon. Is there space between the face and motor to allow the wires to come out without affecting mounting?

The revolver fits well, the leads clear fine, however, it has a huge shaft; that I had to trim. I have the 1800kv and it was too fast with no possibility of gearing down, so is no longer on my venture. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Funny these threads should pop up, I was just thinking the other day that I'm going to start driving this rig while repainting/painting bodies for the other rigs. I really don't want to scratch the body for this rig up though, since I really like it.

| ![]() It is a great looking truck. That's why I'm having a hard time selling it as silly as that may be. I need to cut my fleet down though. I simply don't have the room to store them all in the house.
