Default New Crawler King

I just bought my daughter a Crawler King and I desperately need to upgrade it because she still drives my wraith.

Anyone know some good cheap steering servos and where to get it?

Also will an axial ESC and titan 12t motor work in a crawler king?

As far as a servo mount, search the wk forem, there are templates out there to make one. As for the axial parts, yes they will work.

ok. will moving the servo help or is the servo that weak? I am probably just going to pull my axial stuff out of my wraith and upgrade the wraith to brushless and put that setup in the king.

Stock servo is week no matter where you place it, not sure how strong the wraith's servo is, some guys I know use the solar servos over 300oz of torque for around 25 bucks, but definatly move the servo to the axle.

The RC4WD servos are cheap and center well. I have had bad luck with the Solar servos centering or returning to center from both directions.

Not really understanding your question, but I would just mod the CK, and use that, let her have the Wraith, IMO the CK setup right is way more fun.

BTW Anyone wanna buy a Wraith real cheap ?

I would suggest a east end machine style front axle mount, and a 2075 traxxas servo and run a servo saver.

Also what I did is just heated up center of the stock plastic linkage and rotated it 180 degrees when you go to mount steering from the servo arm to the tie rod. I can post pics after work today.

Check out my post in this thread. Simple and cheap setup for steering servo mount. Corrects the problem 100% and then some. Makes my kids CK so much more fun AND CAPABLE I also put dumped 40w oil in the shocks to kill the torque twist.
