Anyone running 3s lipos?

Need a little help here guys...

I'm thinking of running Lipos in my 'King soon, but I wanna run 3s in the stock battery holder.
Is anyone else doing this, if so, what battery are you running? I'm having trouble finding one that fits.

The stock holder seems to measure 145x52x28mm...

I've been using 3s lipo since i had my WK, though I never had the stock chassis, i'm pretty sure it'll fit with no problem, guys in my local have used them too with the stock chassis. If you are using the stock esc. I'm not sure if it's 3s rated

I run 3s in mine. There are tons of lipos that fit. I use a cheap 2300 and can almost fit two of them in the stock box.
The stock esc can not handle the voltage nor does it have lvd.

You will probably need to stick with a 4200mAh or smaller pack to do it, been thinking about the same in my trucks lately, got an E-Flite 2100 in my crawler and have been thinking trying my Thunderpower 3250 mAh, 3s, 45/90c pack in my monster King.

I've got 2200 mah 3s from hobbyking and tried after I saw this thread on a stock WK chassis. Seems to be the perfect fit

Looks like I'm aiming at too large a pack, been lookig at 4000mah size.

Check Hobby King they have tons of LiPos at great prices and they always give measurements on most everything they sell. All the LiPos I have ever had for any of my RC vehicles have been from HK and they have never once let me down. I run a 2200mah 3s pack that is a little bigger than a Snickers bar and it only cost me about $10 from HK! They now have a US warehouse so you don't have to wait for them to come all the way across the Pacific.

...sorry, I'm not some crazy Hobby King nut but I really enjoy not paying an arm and a leg for some LiPo batteries!
