| integy steel drive shafts
I bought these and they don't fit with the crawler conversion kit even, its about half inch too short on wheel base. What's the trick to fitting these? Truck is already pretty long. Where can I find parts to bring the wheelbase longer? |

I cant tell from the way you worded it if the driveshafts are too long or too short. If the drive shafts are too short, you would have to use shorter links to bring the wheelbase in. If the driveshafts are too long, you will need longer links to push the wheelbase out. These driveshafts are unable to be cut shorter if need be, due to the design. So those are your two options unless you return them, and buy some that are the correct length for what you have now. |

there was only one length. where can I find longer links that don't look like a bag of dicks? want it to look pretty. function then form. comparable looks wise to what I've got now. |

I would use the traxxas shafts... the pin is much stronger than the set srcew Traxxas*T/E*Maxx**Half... Traxxas*T/E*Maxx*diff... Or go with the more expensive MIP drive shafts |

8-32 threaded rod (Home Depot has it), Revo rod ends and tubing of your choice to cover them. K&S 1/4" x .035 Aluminum works nicely and can be polished. Steel brakeline could also be used, C.F. or Delrin tubes or anything else that fits to give you a custom look.
