Thought I would share some tire testing detail. I ran Badlands out at Busse again yesterday, they performed a little better this time but Rock Claws will definitely outperform on climbs. Busse rocks are extreme traction, if you're looking for a little less traction tire with overall good performance the Badlands may be a good choice, the only thing I see the Claws outperform them on is steep vertical climbs (which only low COG rigs will perform.) I will continue to run Claws, just for the record. |

Im debating on what I want to do... the RockStompers worked but no where near as well as my claws but, I hate to have spend the $60 on tires to not use them. Although the lower traction makes the dig much more effective

I like this idea due to Holidays and Vacations. Thanksgiving/Christmas/Hanukkah/New Years.....these are pull people away...so a 3 week rotation around the holidays will keep membership active. | |

Any ideas for where/when the next comp will be? Other than Lockport do we have any ideas for places that have shade? I really like the rocks at Busse, but damn we could use some shade out there, standing out in the sun for 4 to 5 hours is rough.

here you go: Leisure Hrs raceway in conjunction with SCRC presents..... I need 1 judging volunteer, LHR is going to provide the other 2 judges. Entry fee's will go to the store not the club, so I will save the entry fee's from the last comp for future prizes. Scott seems excited about it so Im hoping for a good turn out! |

why in the world is leisure putting judges out there? Are they going to know the rules or do we have to teach them too?

Sweet! Scott seemed to be excited when we were there Sat. Glad to see everything worked out. I'll be there for sure as long as it's not the same day as The Hunnert Car Pile Up in Morris! |

| He also said that it's the same way it was back on the day we were there. And that they'd take a weedwacker out there the day before we came. Hopefully Jeff got some stuff straightened out.

supposedly Bernie is going to be moving rocks around and they are supposed to spray down the other section... If they dont, I am worried what the overall sentiment of the course will be. I almost think if they dont do some modifications before hand they may be shooting themselves in the foot. We will see, hopefully they will get it cleaned up and changed around for their own good. If they dont and people hate the course we dont have to go back but, whats it hurt to try out a new location.
