When I was building My inferno GT2. I was told it will happen all the time. These tires just can't handle the power.

Those were the belted tires Josh

I did find an old pair of Parma foams at work that are 28mm wide and 60mm tall that look like they'll work

The ones in front of the car are the Type-A belted slicks for the M cars. The cross check tires are the RS4 Mini/Cup Racer X-Pattern Radials from HPI both of which I bought about the same time I got the car 5 years ago but have just finally started using. I didn't have them glued as well as I thought I did, so I'm sure that and the age are why they blew apart like they did once I went 3s in it. The tread on the HPI tire even pealed off the reinforcement belt and I think a chunk of the Tamiya tire peeling apart at speed is what caused that damage to the right front corner of the body As of today I was still finding chunks of those tires behind the store Myself and the co-worker who strapped his cell phone to it for the 7.2v passes last Monday are figuring the this thing has to be good for at least 60mph once those Parma foams finally grab I don't have the balls to strap his phone to the car with the 3s pack in the car though

Here's a little video I got of the car yesterday wearing the Parma Foamies and HPI 24mm Rubbers
