Considering he has been working on it since aug 2013. I have lost a decent amount of excitment about this build.

Once i get it back from coating, ill bench it for a while until i feel like starting a new build. I still have finishing touches to do on my class 3 truck. (Ill start that again in the spring)

We know a guy in FL that coats our guns & gun parts. It'll probably be around $50 or so. It's a thin & durable coating that gets sprayed on & baked on.

Yeah there's plenty of places here that powder coat here. The place I use to take car parts to had a 25$ minimum for 25$ they would do quite a bit of stuff. I'd say they would do that chassis with some other parts for 25$. I'm from Rockford though so you may want to find a place closer.

I've been thinking of stripping Hera down for a good media blasting and coating... but may just wait till next year.
I can't seem to find the motivation to work on them.

I really need to get my FlySky sorted before the 1st Feb NWITTC comp.
As of now, I have 4ws but no winch or 2speed... which would most likely get me through the first comp since it's an indoor course.
I remember it being lot's of tight turns but don't remember needing to winch.

So this is a TTC event?

Do you run a class 2 and class 3

they call it TTC but it's "trail" comp style... no Sled Pull, Hill Climb or Tank Trap type events.

They split the classes up into 4 classes.
Basically the same but 5.5" tires and AR60's are in Overkill Class so that smaller 2.2's running SCX10 axles don't compete against them.

Do you have a link to the rules or class specs.?

I wanna see what I got that would fit.
