Yeah.. I built my C2 rig with 2spd intentions but, went with the SS wraith trans instead. I could put the 2spd in it. It's the same size as the wraith trans and I have shift servo provisions but, I don't feel it's neccesary. Rick said he used to go RRP but, switched to HR.

Foster and the lake? I'm up for that... I built a new rear axle for Melons last night and would like to do a shakedown before the comp... so, this Sunday?

All this time I thought i had RCP spools in front and back of Melons.
Turns out the rear is a locker... can't remember the guys name but I think he ended up burning a few folks.
Anyway, the set screw was loose all this time. It worked though.

Rick, I would like a set (a few sets!) of the set screw/spools... what ever happened to those, too much work?

highland with the tang design probably.

i never had any issues with them but i was ok with a tad bit of slack in them after they loosened up so it was easier to pull axle shafts without having to loosen the spools setscrews, and to eliminate any binding up front when turning.

Ha yeah I was thinking the same thing.

I have something to complain about! My F-ing Kevlar tires on my taco are driving me BONKERS!!! Every day they get louder and louder. I rotated them last night, corner to corner so they'd reverse direction and they're twice as loud as yesterday. I'm not sure I can stand it much longer.

Well then again, I just read that it's best to cross rotate them, in the 'X' pattern like I did. He also said they'll be a little noisy the first couple hundred miles after the rotation. I hope that guy is right.
