It's official, our CEO just walked several blocks to give me a formal apology, a thank you and a promise for more support/money to grow my department.  After my manager spent the weekend writing a letter to the company heads outlining the mistake they made in laying me off (not to sound like an ass but there really is no department w/o me... we're down to 2 guys), they separated our numbers from the rest of the studio and realized their mistake. We've had several months this year where we (the 2 of us) were nearly 200% billable! No other department can say that. And, work that come's through my department stays in the company, we're a gateway for several other departments... If I went to a competitor, there is a chance I'd take some of that work with me. So, as far as I'm concerned... all's well that end's well.  |

Grats, though I am happy that didn't happen with me. They keep asking if I am sure that I don't want to stay and take a promotion. But in my case, 3 more years, I would have an additional 30K or so a year and my cash out retirement would go up 40K. If i take the package, I leave with less cash in my retirement fund but I get 36 weeks at full pay with only tax for deductions, I get 5K for training, and I get the full 2012 Bonus and 1/2 of the 2013 bonus. Just made sense to let it lay as it is. So gratz, and enjoy your winter  |

I talked with Heyok today, he is replacing my controller and upgrading me tp the 4amp model with the direct battery connect. I will try it on my Wraith. He also said ang of you that had the same issues to contact him.

i have no issue with a hitec servo thats only had the pot and gear pin modded (other than the creep issue), which can be fixed with a simple toggle switch like i have on lemonade. ive also never had a winch fail or cause issues from actually using the winch. its always been 'wtf, why isnt my rig working right?' and after i get it home to investigate its the damn winch controller thats at fault. | |

Bah! Nearly got the wiring done for the Clod and started testing it only to find out the TorqueMaster is seemingly dead; doesn't even beep when you add power.
