Well, I want a Mojave Toyota body for a project.. They aren't going to be available for another week or two seperatley and I'm impatient.
I was thinking, If anyone was interested in a new TF2 kit without a body, I could order the kit, keep the body and sell the kit.

Anyone interested? Fair prices, split shipping, etc.

It'll be roughly $300 for the bodiless kit.

Yeah... rumor is that after you buy all the tamiya stuff it ends up being well over $100.

I'll probably just wait for the Mojave body.. RPP told me they would have it next week 2 days ago. Meh

Edit: I found one. Thanks homies

In a very stupid moment of anger and frustration... I think I burned up my clutch.

I pulled a 3 point turn in a lot of traffic... very quickly.
I had my rpm's really really high and feathered the clutch for control... then smoke and a burning smell happened.

What do you think, overworked clutch?
How do you know if a clutch goes bad?
I've had a dozen manual cars and never lost a clutch.

you can overheat it, smell it, see the smoke and be fine.

once you cant get it into gear, you'll need to tear it apart.

I think you'll be fine. baby it for a bit.

If you drove it home after the ass whoopin' I'm sure it'll be ok.

go down the road at like 30 or 40, put it in 5th gear and floor it. if it lugs you are good, if it slips you should start thinking about a new clutch.

you def took some miles off of it if it was smoking. id start researching aftermarket clutches just in case. stock clutches are usually crap, a decent aftermarket clutch and pressure plate will grab ALOT harder than a stocker, and last longer.

Clutchs are made to be abused. You probably made it happy.

My dad used to tell me the same about using fifth gear as a test. I'm sure you just overheated it.

Yeah they are, I wouldn't worry about it unless it feels like its slipping. It's one of those parts that's designed to wear. It's not going to suddenly leave you stranded or anything.

I was just watching some videos of the Exo Terra Brushless running and I am really impressed with what Axial has done. As a LONG tine AE fan, I never believed anyone could do IFS as well but Axial has made a good job of it. For a 1/10th scale, it looks to drive and handle much more like a 1/8 buggy.

dunno, but thinking about a spring under setup with portals would be pretty dope.

I like those cheap ass plastic beadlocks.

Hey guys.. I got a cheapo HPI brushed esc. Can I run two motors wired to the same esc with no problems? Anything I need to know?

wiring them in series will be alot easier on the esc but your motors will run slower. wire them in parallel and your motors will run faster but it will put alot more work on the esc.

i have the super rooster i pulled out of the f350 you can have if you want it. the motor and battery wires are pretty short but its completely serviceable. iirc the old super roosters could handle up to 2 13t motors in parallel.

Cool.. I'm still trying to figure out how I'm going to set it up.. Might not have to use two motors. I have 2 - 13t motors so, that would be perfect if I went that route.
I'm extending my onroad car to fit a Mojave body.. Its belt drive. I need to either fab up some more pullies or just run a seperate motor for the rear diff.
