last winter i saw a coyote right down the street from where i live running down an alley. right around lawrence and western ave! it was without a doubt the biggest coyote i have seen by a mile and also very brave. i got within 30 or so feet of it in my truck before it took off.

in kansas & colorado you are lucky to see them before they see you and take off. heard them all the time at night, saw them just every once in awhile.

Got my motors back from rebuild. On my Expert motor, he added the new ceramic bearings, runs great. Now to shoehorn it back into the Mog.

On my sport (thankful it was the sport) that was in my Wraith at Foster that smoked? it actually melted the lacquer off of the windings and melted the endbell. But rotor and stator were shot. So cheaper to buy a new one. Going to stay with the Pros or Experts for these high traction courses.

I want a 2wd brushless basher type of rig.. Something about a rwd go-fast rig that gets me. Rc10 t4.1, hpi firestorm, etc..

The rc10 seems to be geared more towards racing but, I remember my old rc10gt took a major beating and kept goin. I want something I can abuse. Any opinions? Recomendations?

As much as I love AE, the T4 and B4 are just not bashers. Fantastic racers, but not built to take a beating. The HPI FireStorm is good but for real live bashing it is hard to beat the Traxxas Rustler VXL. The Stampede is fun but WAYYYY to wheeley prone and out of control fast for the ride height. If you want to spend the money, the Trazzas VXL 4WD Stampeded is the best fun truck I ever had, even more so than the eRevo BL or the Summit.

I can't count the number of A Arms I took out on my T4 and B4 on the track just hitting the wall after losing traction.

Its not really a mod, you can buy 17mm hexes for it from about anywhere. Heck, you could toss on truggy wheel/tires too.. or even the bigger tires from the Stampede.

And most bodies from a 2WD stadium truck will probably fit too, for a different non-SC look.

The stampeded that neil mentioned is for all intents and purposes a Slash 4x4, just with a shorter chassis and bigger wheel/tires.

Yes kinda

Shock tower are not the same
Chassis is not the same
I don't think the drive train is the same.

Slash 4x4 is tuned right will turn on a dime with no roll over.

17mm wheel is a mod if it is not stock.

Kinda the same.

4WD Stampeded is kinda like a mini emaxx.

All in all Traxxas make the best basher the also have the #1 support.

The vxl will take a 11.1v beating all day long, right? Yeah, I considered that one. Not sure yet. I wanna stay 2wd though.

Zeros slash 4x4 is killer but, I dont want that much traction.

It get hot very fast on 11.1

I always just run 2s.

You can only go so fast under control.

I had a Losi speed T. It was so fast it would lift right off the ground.

Going that fast just kinda get boring because you can only go straight under control

Yep, 3S and High C on a VXL all day. The Rustler is the way to go IMHO, I ran 3S 8000MHr, 35C and ran back to back packs many times. Never broke anything but and A Arm or 2, same as in my Slash.

Rustler VXL.
I don't remember gearing... I'm guessing a little lower than stock since they come with an extra pinion for "speed runs/3s"

I run my Slash on 3S all the time without issue; Mamba Pro with a 3800kv Novak 550 motor. And of course I don't run MaxTrash either.

I had a Losi XXX-T, used to run it with an Mamba, then a Mamba Pro, on 5700kv Castle motor. Tons of speed, but didn't go much anywhere other than pavement and dirt.
